Wow! What a wild ride.
Book 3 picks up right where book two ended. James Gaffney, Chazz Ciabetta, Marco Petrucci, are in the custody of FBI Agent Reggie Keane, waiting to give their videotaped account of recent events as it pertained to “The Family” and Mob boss Chenzo.
Thing go from bad to worse when Mr.Keane’s boss Emmitt Robinson shows up wanting to take over Keane’s case and make a big production of the video Q&A, with multiple cameras and several witnesses he has lined up to take part in Emmitt’s grandiose production. Emmitt is Keane’s junior in age and field experience. Emmitt is on the fast track to the top of the FBI. Emmitt doesn’t care who he has to put in the meat grinder to reach the top.
These men do not care for Emmitt’s posturing and macho crap he doesn’t seem to have much experience of how to handle witnesses. They do things just to get under his skin, he is so easily angered. Chazz the bottomless eating machine and Mob’s hit man keeps asking for food even though he had just eaten. James the Sports Memorabilia Company owner and kidnapper for hire just refuses to play nice with Emmitt. Marco said he will not talk to Emmitt , that this is Keane’s case and they have grown to trust Keane as much as they could trust any FBI agent. Even after there is a hit carried out at the “Safe hotel,” they are staying at presumed to be by the Philly mob family. Emmitt wants these men to do the video interviews. They just want to get out of there before they look like Swiss cheese.
We meet a few new interesting characters in this book. Big Mamma, a huge man named Tracy and the Mob Boss of the Philly crew. This story is fast paced and grips you at the first paragraph and keeps you wanting more at the end.
I love this series and the complexity of the world and characters that Mr. Rosamilia has created. He never disappoints his readers no matter what genre he is writing in. If you like crime novels and suspense you will love this series.

This is truly a terrific series. Easy read that follows well.
Now that I'm halfway through the 3rd book in the Dirty Deeds series, I think it's fair to stay that the momentum with these books just doesn't quit! You still never know where they're going, which wacky character James will meet next, or what in the world his next obstacle will be. Armand Rosamilia has crafted an incredible story with believable characters, witty banter, and left out all the R-rated gore and language that I'm sick to death of. Narrator Jack de Golia continues to let his talent shine through the artful portrayal of multiple characters that gives them depth and personality. This book will not disappoint!
I love James Gaffney!! This was a very exciting edition to the series, I do hope there is more to come!!
