Every time I pick up a Pelican Pointe novel, strong feelings pop into my mind and into my heart! The vivid and detailed descriptions of both the town and the people combine to make me want to find and move to my own Pelican Pointe! I want to stay in the B&B, wander through town and visit the train store, the Chumash Museum and nursery, and talk to the many and diverse characters introduced in Ms. McKeehan's books. Walk the hiking trails and the beach, smell the gardens and the fresh air, all illustrated by this author's words!This novel weaves in new characters, new lives and new histories -- even a 20 year old mystery -- to add to the mosaic that is this wonderful place! The dialogue is animated and expressive -- it puts me right there in places I've come to know with people I'm familiar and comfortable to be around! I have enjoyed all 10 books in this series. I hope there are more to come. There is romance and a little bit of suspense as well. Great read!

All of the books I have read from Vickie McKeehan have been awesome! I have completed the Pelican Pointe Series and hope it will continue. I am now on the Indigo Trilogies. Thank you for such a great read!

So sorry to see the series end. I've enjoyed the people of Pelican Point. A very good combination of community, mystery, and romance.
Another great story with Caleb and Hannah. I just love how the author always works each of the story line in with the other.
Both Caleb and Hannah has past secrets that they preferred to keep to themselves. Then they found attraction to each other and decided to trust one another with secrets. Then the journey starts that scott Phillips has put in motion for a new beginning..

I loved this series and this was a good addition. It would take a great deal to re-reach the heights of the first five books and while this is not quite there, it is a solid addition. I liked that there was a bit of a back plot with the kidnapping/murder mystery, which seemed to be missing from the last book. It is also paints, once again, a damning portrait of the incompetency of the original investigation into the murders and kidnapping (well there wasn't one), the inept foster care system, and most of all the corrupt nature of the US prison system and how Eleanor can organise burglaries and stalking from the inside, which defies belief
I adore the characters in this little town, in particular the originals (Nick and Jordan, and of course Scott) and like how they keep reappearing. I am looking forward to the next addition and hope it stars Nick and Cord's motorcycle buddy. Maybe with Drea?
Also looking forward to the next Skye Cree instalment - I discovered these by accident and they are fantastic!
